Zeybek Costume Efe Dress Boy Child Harmandalı Local Costumes

Efe Costume is used in (Aegean Region) İzmir, Aydın, Manisa, Denizli, Muğla and Uşak and Balıkesir, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Bursa, Eskişehir, Bilecik regions. The local clothes we prepared for Harmandalı and Zeybek dances consist of Eagle Wing Vest, Underwear Jacket, Shirt, Potur Shorts, Fez Headgear, Half Kefiye Dolama, Hasanbeyli Belt, Leggings, Kitty Shoes.

Headgear (Fes):

The fez with tassels covered with cotton fabric on a thick cardboard is wrapped in a triangle-shaped half-length kefi made of original woven fabric.

Skin Shirt:

It is the first piece of Zeybek clothing worn on the upper body. Collarless, open neck and armholes; It is sewn from cotton fabric.

Cepken [Jacket]:

It is a jacket-like garment with a short body, made of blue gabardine fabric with long sleeves, worn over the shirt. The edges are decorated with water stone. The body length ends just below the bust. Although the Cepken cut should fit the body perfectly, you can adjust it with the vest and belt on children's costumes.

Camdan [Eagle Wing Vest]:

It is produced from blue color cepken fabric, the inner side is red-lined. It is shorter than cepken in terms of cut and usage. It is worn over the cepken (jacket). Although it does not have arms like Cepken, it has an arm or wing-like piece from the shoulder area. These almost arm-length pieces hanging from the shoulder of the camada make the zeybek look more majestic.

Çakşir Menevrek / Çuhadon / [Potur Shorts]:

It is sewn from blue color cepken fabric. The length of the shorts is up to the knee. There are black slip thread embroideries on both sides. Since the net part is flat and quite wide, the zeybek is given the opportunity to move freely. In order to adjust the waist width, there is a slipping rope (with drawstring) inside the shorts.

Kepmen / [Leggings]:

It is also produced from blue fabric as in Cepken, Camadan and Potur Shorts. It has water stone cross embroideries on the front. There is a hook on the back so that you can adjust it according to the leg.

Yemeni / Çarık / [Kitty Shoes]:

Although zeybeks use boots on their feet for their clothes recently, kitty shoes are sent because there are leggings in this model.

Generation:

There is a Hasanbeyli shawl belt made of special woven fabric that we use in all our local clothes. At the waist, the panty is wrapped around the shorts.
