The male Van Folklore costume outfit has two different costumes. One of these costumes is a vest sleeved jacket made of shawl shepek, a sile shirt and a shalwar are made of shalshepik fabrics. Also, a ismaliye belt or preferably a Hasanbeyli belt is used on the waist, and the sandals of the costume are a lace-up model. In the costume, there is a poplin double white buttoned shirt instead of the sile cloth shirt in the other costume. The vest of the costume is made of alpaca or, if desired, from broadcloth if desired. It can be embroidered on broadcloth, or we can embroider on alpaca fabric. It is a white weaving that is wrapped around the waist of the costume and the fringed one is used in the Adana region. At the bottom, shalwar made of alpaca fabric with embroidered sides and legs is used, while leather shoes or sandals are used on the feet.
